Hi everyone! First off, I want to remind you about my giveaway that is currently going on! You have a chance to win an August Nail Art Society kit, which includes 2 sets of CALA Water Decals, and a set of Orly Stripers. :)
Now, for today's post, I finally want to show you one of my favorite manis I've done to date! I saw this bow and stripe design on Pinterest while just browsing around (not sure of the original source, sorry!) and I fell in love. I had to try to recreate it! Here's what I came up with:
I wasn't sure if I could recreate it, since I struggle with freehanding sometimes, but I was actually shocked at how pretty it turned out! :)
It's been a little while since I did these, but I'm pretty sure the grey is China Glaze Elephant Walk. I used my Stripe Rite brush in black for the stripes and the outlines, and the bows are China Glaze Escaping Reality over white, with a little Fairy Dust on top for good measure. ;) 2 coats of Seche Vite, since the bows were slightly raised because of all the coats.
So, what do you think of these bows? I'd love to hear your thoughts below! <3

These are just outstanding!!! Bravo! I love the colors you used...I have seen this kind of design but think it was always sort of French shop looking with pink and gray or pink and black - the shades you used are great for fall and don't end up looking too Minnie Mouse which could be easy to have happen when using fatty bows like this in this shade. I agree - you should be really proud! I have not seen everything you have done in the past but I would really put these high on any list esp that you pulled em off free hand. I also am not good at freehand. I can do it sometimes and sometimes not - so when I do art, I limit it to only one maybe two nails - keeping those bows just so precise on each nail had to be hard. I thought at first they were stamped and then art painted in.
