Mentality Tetrachromes: Agere, Amare, Malle, & Nolle

**I want to note that I am no longer affiliated with, or a supporter of, Mentality Nail Polish. Please see my post detailing my experiences with Mentality by clicking here for more information. In short, I would STRONGLY recommend not buying Mentality due to harmful effects that their polishes have had on some people. Even if you've been having an issue and you can't say for sure that it's Mentality polish that's causing it, discontinue use immediately. I didn't know what it was and by the time I realized, serious damage had been done to my nails. They are still not healed. Just don't take any chances. I will leave up my posts where I have reviewed or swatched Mentality polishes because I don't want to just delete them and pretend like nothing happened. I would also recommend reading these great, informative posts by Ashley is Polish Addicted and also The Mercurial Magpie who explain what's happened. Lab Muffin also offers some really interesting possibilities for what specifically about the polishes could be causing these effects.**

Hello lovelies! TGIF!! <3 I know I am looking forward to a weekend of relaxing...well, some cleaning and some nail art and editing and swatching...but some relaxing in there too. And let's be honest, lots of sleeping in - that's the best part of the weekend! :)

Today, I've got my final Mentality post of the week, and I have definitely saved my favorites for last.
Recently, Mentality released a Tetrachrome line and let's face it - I'm obsessed. I had to complete my collection, so here are the last 4 tetrachromes that I hadn't shown you yet.

I ended up putting these in alphabetical order, which means you get to see my ultimate favorite FIRST! This lovely beauty is called Agere!

Agere is described as a blackened multichrome with glass flecks that shifts blue-green, blue, violet, to red. I've used 3 coats here plus topcoat. I'm just going to speak for all these polishes to save time, and say that formula was incredible! No problems whatsoever to report. Even though there are tons of flecks packed into these polishes, they don't give you any trouble with dragging or clumping - application is a dream! And, they're super pigmented. Most people could get away with 2 coats, but since my nails are so long and stained from polishings, I did an extra for good measure. :)

In certain lights, like the one above, Agere looks SO vibrantly bright blue, it's shocking. In the photo below, you can see around the edges of my nails and in the shaded side of the bottle, you can really see the pink and purple flash that comes out - amazing! :)

I had some sunlight this day, and I loved the reflective shine in the sun!

In the shade, it's even more amazing!! Just look at that gorgeous blue!

Next up for today is Amare!

Amare is a blackened multichrome with glass flecks that shifts red, orange, yellow, to yellow-green.

This one appeared predominantly goldish to me, except in certain lights where it was purpleish. Haha these are so hard to describe! Amare reminded me of like, antique brushed gold or something. It's hard to put into words, but it reminds me of beautiful old things. Love it!

Now check out another one of my favorites, Malle! Look at all those different colors you can see just from holding my nails at an angle! :)

Malle is a blackened multichrome with glass flecks that shifts violet-blue, violet, red, to orange-yellow.

The violet is obviously the color that shows up the most here, but the red and orange are pretty visible as well. It gives it almost a pink flash the polish. I'm not even that huge on purples, but this polish is so stunning, you can't help but love it! In this next one, the blue shows itself, especially on my ring and pinky nails. So many colors! :)

Last but certainly not least, is the beautiful Nolle!

Nolle is a blackened multichrome with glass flecks that shifts red-purple, red, orange, to yellow. This one to me, was slightly similar to Malle, but definitely different enough that you need both lol. Nolle is much warmer, no blue to be found here!

Nolle is seriously jaw-dropping in indirect lighting, as you see below. I love that "blackened" effect that many of Mentality's creations have. They're so eye-catching and unique - I had so many people asking me about polish when I wore this one. :) The purple is still here in Nolle, but I think the yellow/gold flecks really shine.

Each of these four polishes retail for $8.25 alone, or they are available as part of the full 7-piece Tetrachrome set (which trust me, you seriously need, like yesterday) for only $54 including shipping! They are so worth it. These amazing flakies are like, THE thing right now and Mentality has them for an amazing price.

Be sure to check out the Mentality shop to see all of the amazing polishes they have to offer, and don't forget to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay up to date on new releases!

The Neon Holos are available now and the Crystalchromes are available to pre-order now, and trust me, you don't want to miss out on either! The Crystalchromes are the first of their kind - cutting edge technology in the nail world!! Oh, and the same goes for the brand new Thermachromic Glitters, which are also available for pre-order now - the first ever color-changing glitter polishes. Check them out, they are seriously amazing! <3

Thanks so much for looking! I'd love to hear your thoughts on these Tetrachromes! Which one is your favorite?? :)
