Rainbow Polish Teal Diamond: Swatches and Review

Tonight I've got another great indie brand to share - Rainbow Polish! Tonya, the maker of Rainbow Polish, was kind enough to send me a bottle of Teal Diamond to review, and I can't wait to show you guys these swatches!
First up, the bottle shots. Check out this awesome label! I love it.

PS, when I showed my boyfriend this polish, he giggled and said "hee hee, Teal Diamond, it's like Neil Diamond, get it?" What a dork, lol! Not sure if that was Tonya's intention, but he got a kick out of it.

Anyways, onto the macro shot:

Tonya's description of this beauty:
"It's teal and contains diamond shaped glitter so I HAD to name it Teal Diamond!

This polish contains 5 different glitters such as small teal glitters, diamond shaped glitters, hex glitters and more in a suspension base."

Darn cloudy day when I was taking these photos! The color of this polish was so cool on its own, I thought for a while about what I wanted to use for undies. In the end, I chose a few different colors that I thought would look good with Teal Diamond.

Ahh, I love this glitter! I could not stop looking at my nails. I'm not sure which color I like it over best - I thought it really pops over black, but it looks great over yellow too. My thumb is 2 coats of Teal Diamond with no undies - it looks really cool alone too! The base polishes from left to right are Wet n Wild French White Creme, Rimmel Lasting Finish Black Satin, Zoya Pippa, and NYC Pink Promenade Creme.

Here's a close up of my thumb!

The tiny teal bars are such a cool addition to this polish, and I love all the different shapes and sizes of glitter! It gives it a really unique look. Not to mention, even with all the bigger diamonds and bars there was no curling, clumping or other problems with application. The polish went on smoothly and evenly, and I thought coverage was great with 2 coats.

Another photo just because!

All in all, this polish is great - and I can't wait to try more of Tonya's creations!

Rainbow Polish sells for $8.50 USD for 15 mL, and you can find it both on Big Cartel and Etsy.

  4. I love the color teal or colors in that shade range of colors so this mani is awesome. I can't decide what undue color I like best. I think the black one. :)
